The Buzz Youth Activity Group was set up in response to disabled young people in the Cheshire West & Chester and Cheshire East area asking for a place to ‘hang out’ with their friends and to have some fun. The group is run by the members through a steering group. The group runs on a weekly basis across Cheshire West & Chester and Cheshire East district and all activities on offer are chosen by the young people who attend. The Groups are funded by Children in Need and Cheshire East Council.
The Buzz has 3 membership groups Junior Buzz, Teen Buzz, Senior Buzz
Example activities the young people have requested over the last 12 months include:
Cinema Trip, Visit to Llandudno, Disco, Visit to Wigan Warriors, Boat Trip, Climbing Wall Visit, Ten Pin Bowling, Horse Riding, Bingo Night, Multi Sports Night, Italian Meal Out, Cookery Evening, Visit to Chill Factor.
