🆕 Care and Support Advisor
You will be part of a team that delivers the Arrangement of Care and Support Service, this role will be focused within the Cheshire locality.
Our Arrangement of Care and Support Advisors provide high quality information and support to both referring Health & Social Care professionals and eligible customers who are in receipt of a Personal Budget (Direct Payments), Personal Health Budgets and self-funded/private clients.
We seek an individual with a background in social care who can support disabled children and adults to live independently in their local communities.
The successful candidate would empower the individual and ensure they have the support they need to retain their independence.
You should be motivated, enthusiastic and have a passion for what you do.
You will need to demonstrate high ethical standards, take personal accountability for everything you do, and always want to be the best.
If you have some experience of social care, through life experience, voluntary placement, or paid work, we believe you will have the transferrable skills required for this exciting role.
You will need to be well organised, a confident communicator and have loads of motivation and a determination to always deliver your best.
You must

◾ be flexible and have strong interpersonal skills
◾ be able to engage and motivate people
◾ committed to the inclusion of disabled people
◾ be able to manage a complex workload
◾ be able to travel independently across Cheshire

Do you want to make a real difference to young people with lived experience of disability or long-term health conditions?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Community Engagement Team and support young people to have fun during school holidays…
Role:
You will use your skills and ability to connect with young people to support them to take part in creative, fun and accessible activity sessions.
You will need to:
◾ Be confident to provide high quality group and 1-1 support to young people aged 5-18 years (including personal care)
◾ Ideally have previous experience working with young people with lived experience of disability
◾ Be able to use own initiative
◾ Have lots of energy and enthusiasm
◾ Have some knowledge of safeguarding
Our activity sessions will be taking place in Chester, and will be held during school holidays for May (1 week), Summer (5 weeks) and October (1 week). We are therefore looking for energetic, dynamic individuals to join us on a Zero Hours Contract to help out with the groups running throughout the holidays for the remainder of this year (minimum 4-6 hours per week).
You will receive training and a full induction beforehand.
